I did check the bug list using the search terms 'feature request' and did not 
find the following request in the 27 items returned. I apologise up front if 
this is a duplicate request.

Some developers, including myself, like to group Projects within different 
workspaces. The Websphere Studio v5 product has a workspace selection dialog 
allowing a user to select or create a new workspace when starting up WSAD. The 
provision of this dialog, means that I only need one icon on my desktop, as 
opposed to Eclipse, where I need a separate icon for each workspace. 

Although it could be argued that the benefit is small, would it be possible to 
have this facility in eclipse?

An enhancement over the WSAD version, would be to provide an editable picklist 
instead of the basic entry field. The list could contain the last 5 opened 
workspaces.
