Description Simon Arsenault CLA 2003-06-17 15:19:49 EDT
Right now, if there are any problems during restore of the workbench windows,
we some very generic error message. Hitting the details button will list things
like the view ids not restored, etc. Not very helpful.

I see no reason why we want to display the ids to the users...it means probably
nothing to them. We should just provide a message that indicates some
perspectives/views/editors/actions were not restored because they no longer
exist in the application (or something along those lines). We could add more
details information in the .log file.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
