The filter settings (e.g. show only problems with severity of "error") is not 
persisted across workspace sessions.

Same problem for win2k M1 build.
Although my setting I am losing is the "on selected resource and its children", 
I havent changed the other setting yet.

Could not reproduce.
Tried the following steps in I20030625:
- only one perspective open
- show Problems view
- change filter settings to show only Errors
- shutdown
- restart
- filter settings are restored OK

Are you closing and reopening the view?  If so, this is either expected 
behaviour or a known problem, depending on your point of view.

Cannot reproduce in i0625 either.
Ok to close. 
Will re-open if problem re-occurs.
