We should look at re-using the config admin that's available in Equinox and enhance it in order to store configuration in the cloud (eg., in ZooKeeper)

it would be very interesting to be able the use of CM to configure all kind of services. I mean, not have to use the Admin GUI at all.

I our latest system I create a bundle that takes right named property files and add its contents to CM. So we do the system initial configuration by installing a bundle fragment that contains property files...
