- open filter settings for problems view
- check "Where severity is" and check error and info
- close dialog.
- close Eclipse
- reopen Eclipse

observe: setting are lost

just a extra check, does this also fix the scope setting
(i want always filter on project but this is also lost everytime)

yes that should persist as well.
