Description Chris Perrin CLA 2003-06-10 12:01:29 EDT
My current environment has two projects, both of which are located in
C:/eclipse/workspaces. However, I have an XML file that I need to open in
Eclipse so I can use the XMen XML Editor plug in. The problem is that there is
no way for me to just open a file in the C:\ drive for viewing that I can see.
I can import the file, but it moves the file from C:\ to the project root
(C:\eclipse\workspaces\...)

I would very much like a way to be able to have an Open File button or menu
selection which will open a file in Eclipse like Word or like Vis Studio.NET.

If this function exists and I just don't see it, then please tell me where it
is. Thanks.

This is a plan item for version 3.0 (currently not committed).
