Screenshot showing the Restore buttons on a minimized PartStack

I would like the ability to hide the Restore button on the TrimBar of minimized PartStacks, as well as the title bar of the PartStack in my RCP application. Please see the attached screenshot with the two restore buttons circled in red.

Same problem here, any solutions?

This is a helpwanted bug. No one is looking at this, but we would consider patches contributed from the community.

Filed a related bug in CTabFolder, while analyzing this ticket.
See: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=549107

I'm going to provide a proposal soon, based on additional e4 model tags to:
 - Hide 'restore' button of TrimStacks MTrimBar
 - Hide 'min/max/restore' buttons of MPartStacks CTabFolder
