I should be able to select multi-line text with control-f (or control-h for that matter) with the following requirements:

1. There should be a multi-line textbox with scrollbar in the dialog (not crammed onto one line).
2. I shouldn't have to enable regular expression syntax nor see the multi-line selection converted into a regular expression.
3. Multi-line selection should have an ignore whitespace checkbox.  This checkbox could also be present during single-line selections.
