Description Thomas Jacob CLA 2003-05-21 06:13:49 EDT
When right-clicking a text in any text editor, the caret (cursor) position is
not updated to that point. This has the effect that e.g. "Open declaration" in
the Java Editor does not open the object I just clicked but the object at the
current caret position. So I have to left and right click.

Typically when I want to do this sort of thing, I left click and then hit F3
(does the same thing as left click, right click -> Open Declaration). Am
forwarding this onto the Text component for comment.

F3 helps a little, yes, but all the elements of the context menu work on the
current caret position, not the right click position, so it is a more general
issue.
