When we consider adding bidi support, we need to remember the preference settings that are currently in RBD and determine which ones are needed. There are 2 pref pages in RBD: EGL>Bidirectional Text and EGL>Rich UI>Appearance>Bidirectional Text.

on the first page:
Enable bi-di support

   Enable visual data ordering
   Enable right-to-left orientation

   Enable visual editing

On the second page:
widget orientation: LTR or RTL
Text layout: Logical or Visual
Reverse text direction: Yes/No
