The R3_8_eclipse branch of org.eclipse.releng.eclipsebuilder and org.eclipse.releng.basebuilder are used to build this. The test script I have been using to run this is kmoir@build:/shared/eclipse/e4> pwd /shared/eclipse/ ./masterBuildKim38.sh Currently it's not configured to update the map files from the changes in the integration build or sign. It's just configured for a test build and doesn't copy the resulting build to the real location. We run unix2dos on runtests.bat in the customTargets.xml for building the sdk.tests. And dos2unix on runtests. To ensure the test scripts have the correct line delimiters. This is temporarily disabled because of issues running them on build.eclipse.org.
Also, the jobs to run JUnits are https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/eclipse-JUnit-mac/ https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/eclipse-JUnit-Linux/ https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/Eclipse%20and%20Equinox/job/JUnit-win/
Test results are here for a I20120312-1428 build Mac https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/Eclipse%20and%20Equinox/job/eclipse-JUnit-mac/130/testReport/ 5 failures + p2 and p2.ui tests didn't run (I think due to a bogus repo name in the equinoxp2.properties file https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/Eclipse%20and%20Equinox/job/eclipse-JUnit-mac/ws/ws/2012-03-20_12-02-24/eclipse-testing/ Windows https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/Eclipse%20and%20Equinox/job/JUnit-win/lastCompletedBuild/testReport/ debug dnf 157 failures ua issues are the same as the ones in 4.2, ephemeral ports not allowed on eclipse.org slaves https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/Eclipse%20and%20Equinox/job/JUnit-win/ws/ws/eclipse-testing/results/xml/ Linux tests ran but results were not collected due to Hudson config issue, investigating
I'm marking the "3.8 build on build.eclipse.org" as depending on the bug for making 4.2 primary, as the general strategy is to focus on getting 4.2 building first, and once that's done, so the same (similar) thing for 3.8. There might be occasion to do some work in parallel, but focus is on 4.2 first.
We are done here! Thanks for the years of prep work, Kim :)
