Description jerrett CLA 2003-05-09 14:09:17 EDT
Since the navigator shows a list of all the files you are working on, i find i
never use the tabs of "open files" on top of the active file. A result of
this, is that files just keep getting opened..

a possible solution could be to have an option to automaticly close inactive
files.. so whenever you switch to another file, if the file you switched FROM
is SAVED, close it. If it's unsaved, it would be left open.

also, to compliment this, an option to hide the 'active files' tabs
completely, would be nice :)

thanks

Moving to platform/ui.

There is already a preference "Close editors automatically" in Workbench >
Editors preference page that does this.
