Fix

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #372605 +++

We should remove the ESC CTRL+F key binding on Linux.

The technical justification for this has long gone, and the popup that always shows up on ESC is a major usability issue. That's by far more severe than breaking the habits of the few people who actually use the shortcut, especially since those people can easily add it back.
