Build Identifier: M20110909-1335

Input a letter 'a' in File Search (CTRL+H) dialog will be treated as CTRL+A

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch File Search using CTRL+H
2.Select File Search tab if not already selected
3.Enter 'a' into field "Containing Text" field

This works fine for me on Linux and Windows 7 using 3.8 M4 or 3.7.1.
Maybe your input locale changed?

Does it only happen in this dialog?

Nope, input locale is English.

Yes, so far only found here.

This sounds very strange. So, you're saying if you e.g. switch to the 'Java Search' page, it works? Can you attach a screenshot?

Please try with a build from here:

Also, please give more details about your machine and OS.

I had done some testing and found that the problem is with GNOME desktop, tried running on XFCE desktop and it all works fine.

I think this bug can be invalidated.
