Description Eric Kaplan CLA 2003-04-17 09:06:41 EDT
Hi

I was running happily, and all of a sudden started to get messages that
eclipse could not save the state of the workbench.

Could not write workspace metdata: c:/eclipse-
workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.root/35.tree.

Now, I see 34.tree in that directory but no 35.tree!!

What might be wrong? How can I recover, I don't want to have to start over.

Regards

Eric

Are you out of disk space?
Are you saying that Eclipse won't start anymore?
Is there any information in the .log file in your workspace/.metadata directory?

yes indeed, i should have checked the log file. I had run out of disk space.
It would have been nice if I could have rolled back to the last "good" version.
