Description Albert Tam CLA 2003-04-16 17:27:08 EDT
I'd like to be able to use Eclipse as a general editor in addition to a Java
IDE.  Suppose I have a bunch of files I've selected from a Windows explorer;
I'd like to be able to drag-and-drop those files to Eclipse and edit/view them
there. Right now I have to use TextPad or NotePad. This type of functionality
was available in Visual Cafe and I found it incredibly handy; just wondering if
we can have the same feature in Eclipse.

You can now open and edit external files. Drag and drop is not yet implementd.
