Dozens of times a day, I'll click away from eclipse to another application (usually Chrome), do whatever I am doing in that other window, and then go to return to eclipse, only to find it is no longer in the taskbar. The eclipse application silently terminated when I wasn't looking. I restart eclipse, and most often, the logs show nothing but that a termination without saving the workspace had been detected. I resume working and the problem repeats again, sometimes within 5-10 minutes, sometimes not for another hour. If anything, the problem is becoming more frequent. I'm beginning to worry that I'm spendin more time waiting for Eclipse to start up (again, and again, and again) than I am actually working in Eclipse. Please advise. -- Configuration Details -- Product: Eclipse 1.3.2.20110218-0812 (org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product) Installed Features: org.eclipse.platform 3.6.2.r362_v20110210-9gF78Gs1FrIGnHDHWkEcopoN8AmxeZflGDGKQi
Search for crash logs, if you're using HotSpot they'd be something like hs_err_pid12345.log. Do your coworkers have this problem?

This does not have to do with Ant. The problem is with the VM. This is a known issue to Oracle: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/exception_access.xml
