If i wrote a small program in java and want to see it using eclipse, I have to 
create the project etc. So to view java files which are not yet part of a 
project i currently use some other IDE ( which i think is defeating the purpose 
of the one-stop-all-solution Eclipse)
There should be a way that eclipse can open files without worrying about their 
project linkage etc.

this is a limitation that will be considered after 2.1.

moving to platform UI.
