1. I press the search button in the toolbar and switch to 'help', enter a word 
and press search
2. I press search again
 -> Search didn't remember that I was using the 'help' tab last. I think it 
would be good to have that.

That's a long going discussion: smartness vs. last search type:
e.g. you select a type and open the dialog - would you expect to be on the Help
page?

I suggest to add a preference for 2.2 where users can
- select a page or <smart>

ah, I see. You're right.

In my case the focus and selection was on a search result obtained from doing a 
search in help. Would it be possible to be clever in this case and go to the 
help search page?
