Build Identifier: M20110210-1200 On step 4 of the the Help-> Workbench User Guide > Getting Started > Basic Tutorial > A simple project, the following text occurs: "In the File name field, type a unique name for a new text file, including the .txt file extension. Do not use spaces or special characters in this file name (for example, "JanesFile.txt")." This text seems to imply that you cannot create file names with embedded spaces in them. This is not true; you can create file names with embedded spaces. For example "Janes File.txt" is perfectly acceptable. So I would suggest that the text be changed to: "In the File name field, type a unique name for a new text file, including the .txt file extension. Do not use special characters in this file name (for example, "JanesFile.txt"). Discovered-by: Richard Moore <richardj_moore@uk.ibm.com> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A
I think we can remove the whole "do not" sentence because the dialog will tell the user when something invalid is entered. Also, the set of invalid characters depends on the OS.
Fixed that in the whole doc.
