"Platform Plug-in Developer Guide > Examples Guide > Standard Widget Toolkit > Running and browsing the SWT examples manually" has a reference to 'Create project from existing source' option which does not exist anymore. => Find and remove/update references to 'Create project from existing source' option See also bug 345691.
>=> Find and remove/update references Only affected file: /org.eclipse.swt.examples/doc-html/swt_manual_setup.html > 'Create project from existing source' option This option got replaced by [ ] Use default location ==> if the doc tells to select 'Create > project from existing source' then this needs to be changed to: deselect 'Use default location'. But I think the source could even be imported more easily by using File > Import... > Plug-ins and Fragments
Carolyn you made the last change. Maybe you could do this?
FYI, I quickly changed: Select 'Create project from existing source' to: Deselect 'Use default location' and released. Hoewever, I need a bit more time to test simplifying the steps to use: File > Import... > Plug-ins and Fragments before changing to that, and I have something else I need to do first. I will leave this bug open for a few more days as a reminder to look into publishing simpler instructions.
The target milestone seems wrong, or can this be closed by now ?
The initial work is done but more cleanup is needed as mentioned in comment 3. Carolyn, can you do this during M3?
Carolyn, can this be moved to M4? PW
Yes. Sorry I didn't get to it for M3. Changed milestone to M4.
Changing target milestone to 4.3.
Ping!
I need to remove the target milestone from this. Unfortunately it is low priority because the description is already "good enough".
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
