The repositories are grouped in the categories "Tasks", "Bugs", "Other" in Task Repositories View. I would locate my plugin's repositories in another category.
As outlined in http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&goto=652308&S=bac229a43f4fe965c3b8415546e93b18 we won't be supporting that for the (deprecated) Task Repositories view but I am happy to consider this for the Team Repositories view. I have changed the summary accordingly. Does that work for you?
Yes, it would be fine. Thank you, Evgeny

This task is currently on the backlog and not scheduled for a particular release. If your are interested in working on this we would be happy to consume this as a contribution.

add some comments to the review and create a new patch set
Patch set 9 is now in HEAD
There seems to be no information on this bug about what the change was or how one could take advantage of it. I don't know how I would access the review mentioned in comment 5.
Good point. Frank, if you have a minute it would be great if you could summarize quickly what the extension point is and if we have that paste a short example snippet.

Now that I know that categories.exsd exists, I could at least go find it and see what the change was (and I think it has enough info). But before comment 14 I had no idea if this was about an extension point or what.
