>I would like to run EclipseLink as the JPA provider in a standard JEE EAR on an Amazon ECC cloud instance There are currently 2 WebLogic 10gR3 instances and 75 oracle related instances including 11g WebServices officially from Oracle. We need some additional instructions on which provided instances to use or how to configure the default linux or windows instance to run a non-clustered single node install of WebLogic, JBoss, GlassFish or WebSphere that runs EclipseLink as the JPA layer. There are 3 preconfigured community AMIs running Solaris and Linux based instances that run GlassFish V2 and V3 that we could use that ship with EclipseLink already installed ami-29bf4940 ebs 280524629227/Lucid Mysql JDK 6 and Glassfish 3.0.1 installed Other Linux ami-1563887c instance-store glassfish301-ver-1-0/image.manifest.xml Other Linux ami-a87b9cc1 instance-store sun-osol-2008-11/Glassfish_2008.11_32_1.0.img.manifest.xml OpenSolaris >todo - updated 11gR1 EC2 instances that include EclipseLink - issues/performance/configuration - example "Community AMI" instance running JPA out of the box - intance-instance or instance-(out-of-cloud) communication ....
