Description Krzysztof Kazmierczyk CLA 2010-12-02 08:02:33 EST
Build Identifier: 3.6.1

Before first merge (and probably also other operations) in the workspace you must always clisk "refresh tags" button to have the list of all available branches and tags from repo. We could automatically fetch all the tags and branches when "Team->Merge" dialog is opened first time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Checkout project to workspace using CVS plug in
2. Right click on the project -> Team -> Merge
3. Type branch name in in end tag. Auto complete does not work. You must click "Browse" -> "refresh tags" first.

This sounds reasonable, but once bug 292833 is fixed we will like to avoid doing the auto-refresh since it can be a very long operation. On the other hand, the refresh may be required to fix the other bug.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
