I cannot do the folloing in the synchronize view.

select an item "A"
hold the shift key
select another item "B" (=> a group will be selected beginnng with "A" ending with "B")
release shift and hold ctrl
select item "C", which is not part of the forst selection
hold the shift key AND the ctrl key
select item "D" (=> group A-B should be selected and group C-D)

Unfortunately this only leads to group A-B being selected and items C and D.

This works in some other views and would be very handy here, too, as well as in the package explorer.
