It would be really handy if the export functionality allowed only the files changed accordingly the SVN, CVS, ... to be copied to disc/included in the archive. This could be done by having a Select Changed button in the dialog that picks the files in the project(s) when the Export menu entry is selected and the General->File System or Archive File entries chosen.

This would be useful for us when submitting our changes for QA.

Reproducible: Always

I guess you've already considered creating patches, right?
Comment 2 Ian Ashley CLA 2010-09-08 10:53:02 EDT
We have tried that but the lack of context around the changed lines sometimes makes it hard to QA the differences.

If there was a way of exporting the base and new versions of changed files, possibly as two separate exports, that would be just what the doctor ordered.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
