Description Lars Svensson CLA 2010-07-02 04:30:28 EDT
Build Identifier:

I would love to see a meny under File. "Open resently opened editors", and a short list of files as a sub menu. I often closes an editor by misstake and have a hard time finding it again.

Reproducible: Always

Most browsers have a 'Recently Closed Tabs' option, and I guess I have been spoilt by that :)

Moving to Platform UI.

PS: Meanwhile have you tried 'Back' and 'Last Edit Location'? These should help in 'some' cases.

:-) The Back button and the list under it is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

But for the intuition sake, it might be discussesed to put the same list under File menu, since I did not find it and looked - as I imagine most users would - under Files menu.

You mean a list of editors that were previously opened but recently closed, right? Because, if you just want a list of editors that were recently opened, that's already listed in the 'File' menu.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
