Description Andreas Krüger CLA 2003-02-13 06:39:34 EST
I have an overlong line in a .java file opened in the Java editor.

I use "find and replace" to change something in that line,
fairly much to the right.

The window scrolls over horizontally some, but not enough.
I cannot see what has been selected.

In case it matters:
This isn't the first replacements in that line,
it's even longer now than it was when I started "find/replace".

A similar problem occurs in a styled text widget with wrapped lines.
If there are enough lines that wrap (and the wrapping lines are long enough)
then a find command will not scroll sufficiently far *down* to see the
highlighted text

Eclipse 2.1
JVM 1.3 (sun)
Win2k

Cannot reproduce. Probably depends on the line, find and replace string.
If you see this next time, reopen and attach the info to reproduce.

Get rid of deprecated state.
