Build Identifier: 20100218-1602 I use spaces (aka virtual desktops) in OS/X Leopard. When I detach a window from the docked IDE and I try to drag the detached window from the parent, the latter comes with me, so it's impossible to keep main window on a virtual desktop and the detached one(s) on another. It would be a practical feature. I guess it depends on how Java is implemented in OS/X. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use OS/X spaces 2. Detach a window from docked IDE 3. Try to drag it to another space (virtual desktop), parent window comes with you, instead of staying in its original space.
Might be an SWT bug. I'll leave it to Eric to decide.
...and I'm going to pass it on to the SWT folks since I'm not sure either...;-).
Definitely SWT. Is this Carbon or Cocoa? The behavior sounds like something I've seen (and also dislike) on Cocoa, but just want to be sure.
Bug triaged, visit https://wiki.eclipse.org/SWT/Devel/Triage for more information.
