Build Identifier: N20100506-2000 When scrolling in the about box with the arrows, orca read the text "(c) Copyright Eclipse contributors and others 2000, 2010. All" two times. Copying the text from the about box I can verify that it appears only one time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Using orca launch eclipse and choose a workspace. 2. Press alt+h and choose about eclipse sdk. 3. Press the tab key. 4. Press the down key until you hear (c) Copyright Eclipse contributors and others 2000, 2010. All 5. Press down one more time Orca announce the same text
moving this to SWT since things seem to be working as expected on JAWS and NVDA, but not orca. (Carolyn, please correct me if I'm wrong about that).
SSQ, can you have a look at this? Is it possibly an example of the problem in bug 313071?
I tried this with N20100510-2000 and it works fine for me. I am running Ubuntu 10.04. Please reopen if you still can reproduce it with a newer build.

Ok, I know how to reproduce it now. I have to press another arrow down KEY once orca reads the line the first time. It happens because the line is wrapped and StyledText considers TEXT_BOUNDARY_LINE the same as TEXT_BOUNDARY_LINE.
Meant to say: It happens because the line is wrapped and StyledText considers TEXT_BOUNDARY_LINE the same as TEXT_BOUNDARY_PARAGRAPH.
Is there anything we can do here?
Seems to be fixed in 3.7 M5. Now the text is read correctly.
The bug is back in Build id 20120614-1722.
I think this should be fixed once Orca updates to the new API, which uses simplified text granularities.
This problem is present in version 4.10.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
