Build Identifier: M20100211-1343 If I start eclipse and it points to my old workspace (File/Switch Workspaces). I can not see the choice 'Visual Class'. If I swap workspaces to some other (any) location, then eclipse restarts and the and the choice is visable. If I swap back to the orginal workspace eclipse will restart , and I lose the choice again. It appears that the new Eclipse SDK Version: 3.5.2 Build id: M20100211-1343 does not like to use old files from Eclipse IDE for Java Developers Build id: 20100218-1602. If I use a "any different" workspace all is well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have some old JAVA files in an old location 2. Start Eclipse SDK Version: 3.5.2 2. the option "Visual Class" is not available 3. change the workspace to any where ... 4. eclipse will restart by itself 5. do a File/New/ and you will see the option "Visual Class" is now present 6. swap back to the orginal (old) workspace 7. restart again 8. the option is gone again
menu choice Visual Class is missing
Moving to VE
I should say it is not a problem of VE since it is shown in one workspace. I wonder if there is a problem in your old workspace.
