Latest code from 20030131

1. Set the Ant view to horizontal layout.
2. Activate a target.
3. The view switches itself to vertical layout.

Verified your change. I added an instance variable to track the last
orientation so that if the pane is reopened when a target is activated it will
maintain the last orientation.

Please verify.
