Description Cristian Birloncea CLA 2010-03-17 11:26:27 EDT
Build Identifier: M20090211-1700

To improve accessibility, a blind user suggested to have a way to determine which view/editor is currently active. A key combination could trigger this.
Currently the view title is not being read when the view is activated (a defect for this already exists - 97728). Even after fixing this defect, it will be easier to understand the current location if a shortcut is provided.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Try to use a screen reader to determine the active view/editor when a control has focus.
2. No easy way to get that information read back to the user.
3.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
