Description Michael Valenta CLA 2003-01-27 16:15:29 EST
I just added a collapse all to the repositories view. I used the package
explorer as an example and copied their "collapse all" icon (I assume they
copied it from the Navigator). This means that there are at least 3 copies of
this icon. It would be nice if there were some mechanism that allowed this icon
(and other common ones) to be shared. (or is there one already that I don't
know about?)

You can use the ResourceManager's image registry and make your key API

Great, that's the first step. But it doesn't solve the problem that I need to
copy the collapse all button images. I think it would be worthwhile to make
the image available in a ResourceManager that is shared amongst all the users
of the button.

An alternative would be to have a way to get a preconfigured instance of a
collapse all button and then assign a view specific listener.

There is currently no plan to work on this request

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
