Description Pawel Piech CLA 2010-01-28 00:05:51 EST
The "Add new expression" entry is shown in the Expressions view when columns layout is turned on. This entry allows users to add new expressions using a cell editor (without opening a dialog). I've observed a case where adding new expression using this entry does not appear to work until the view is scrolled. To reproduce:

1) Add expressions to the view until the view is filled with expressions (no white space left).
2) Scroll down so that the "Add new expression" at the very bottom of the view.
3) Click on the "Add new expression" entry and add a new expression.
4) The problem: The view does not show the new expression, but instead still shows the "Add new expression" entry.
5) Scroll down and the view will update properly.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
