Description Grant Gayed CLA 2010-01-26 11:26:52 EST
3.6M5 test build, observed on 32-bit RHEL4 and 64-bit RHEL5

- run Snippet46
- drag around within the Shell and note that nothing is drawn
Comment 1 Grant Gayed CLA 2010-01-26 11:28:17 EST
Wrong snippet, it's Snippet66.
Comment 2 Robert Roth CLA 2015-05-02 10:17:44 EDT
Do you still see this with later Eclipse versions? I have just tried with eclipse 4.5M6 on Fedora 22 and drawing works correctly.
Comment 3 Eric Williams CLA 2016-11-24 16:47:19 EST
Snippet66 runs but is extremely slow. Also, Alt-Tabbing out erases anything that was drawn.
Comment 4 Eric Williams CLA 2018-03-20 12:26:29 EDT
The performance issues from comment 3 are gone, but the issue of the text disappearing when Alt-tabbing is still there. Also this snippet doesn't work at all on Wayland.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
