Description Keldon Rush CLA 2009-12-31 03:30:32 EST
Build Identifier: 3.5.1

In the past the whitespace glyphs for tab, space, etc were vertically centered on the line of text.
In 3.5.1 they are all far too low - this causes spaces to look identical to dots - which is obviously problematic for dot notation languages.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type a line in any text editor ( I am using FDT plugin, but is the same with all )
2. In preferences set whitespace characters visible
3. Notice that all whitespace glyphs are far too low and spaces look like dots

Can you attach a picture?

Can you check whether you use the same font in R3.5.1 as you do in your previous releases (e.g. R3.5) where it works for you?

Markus, can you please check on your Mac.

Looks OK for me. Please also tell whether you use the Carbon or the Cocoa version and which font and font size you use.
