Value Series Names not showing

I've got a bar chart report which uses a value (Y) series grouping and displays
the labels (Value Data, Value Series Name). When running on a Tomcat in a
Windows environment everything works fine.
However on a Linux machine, the Value Data shows up fine but the Value Series
Name doesn't! If I set the background of the label to white it actually shows
as a white empty box (see screenshot)
I'm running apache-tomcat-5.5.28 on a CentOS release 5.2 (Final).
I've already tried to change the format to png, jpeg etc. not luck.

I didn't see you defined data point labels in attached report, but I see data point labels in screenshot.
Please attach the report to reproduce.
