Description Tomasz Zarna CLA 2009-10-23 06:25:08 EDT
I20091020-0931

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select a method of a Java source file with recent editing.
2. Compare with Element from Local History
=> Left and right panes should present the same method (already covered by bug 291695)
3. Go to right pane
4. Go to the first line using Go to Line dialog (Ctrl + L)
=> The line connecting diffs is not updated

Workaround:
* Select the diff
* Move the focus out and in the workbench window

Go to Line dialog

The other thing is that the 'Go to Line' should not allow jumping to a line which is not in the current range. In the screenshot case it should be limited to lines between 267 and 278. Anyway, it looks like a separate bug.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
