Description Martin Oberhuber CLA 2009-09-29 06:12:23 EDT
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #196552 +++

Build ID: eclipse-3.5.1 on WinXP

After using File > Switch Workspace > Other... for switching to "WorkspaceB", I want to be able to quickly switch back to the workspace I came from. I expect that in WorkspaceB, the File > Switch Workspace > Other... dialog has the "WorkspaceA" that I just came from in its dropdown.

At the moment, the "Other..." dropdown seems to be populated with a list of workspaces that I *switched to* before (using the WS Launcher UI). It would make more sense to have it populated with a list of workspaces that I *used* before with the same Eclipse configuration.

It looks like this enhancement request is a subset of the request in bug 196552 for a more specific user story, using the UI only rather than commandline.

Prakash is now responsible for watching bugs in the [WorkbenchLauncher] component area.

This seems to be fixed as per Eclipse 4.5.1 (Mars.1) on Windows.

I'm not sure when it was probably resolved, but I'd suggest marking this bug as closed.
