Changing version to 3.5.
I haven't been able to reproduce this. I wonder if it is a vm problem, though I did try the same 1.5.0_09-b3. Can you try a different vm?
I tried a new JRE (6.0_16-b01) and got the same result. I can post that crash log for this one (though it is the same) if it helps. I have verified this crashes on a fresh unzip of the 3.5 platform runtime with no other plugins installed. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help debug this.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
