Description Chen Zhixiang CLA 2009-06-23 10:27:21 EDT
When open a existing project which is not configured AS tomcat-deployed web module,
but attampt to set "Run" as tomcat-deployed(firstly config a tomcat server),
which ends up failed...

For a existing project which is not configured AS tomcat-deployed dynamic web module, whenever open "Project-->Properties", one should see the "Server" config item, but in fact, ONLY when checked out from a CVS as "dynamic web module", the "Server" config item in "Project-->Properties" effects.

This is a feature enhancement request, best wishes.

I assume this working as designed, but I rather let the expert comment on it.

Sending down to the platform as checking resources from a CVS repository is not an area that WTP owns or makes modifications.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
