Description Pawel Pogorzelski CLA 2009-05-22 06:42:30 EDT
In 3.5 we had to disable proxy support for GNOME by default. This was a consequence of bug 268321 and bug 277343.

I've opened this bug to track the problems that caused crashes and hugs described in bug 268321 and bug 277343. Ideally they will be resolved on this bug and GNOME support will be enabled by default in 3.6.

There is a bug that tracks the cause of bug 268321 on GNOME side. Please go to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=583443 to have a look at it.
Comment 2 Pawel Pogorzelski CLA 2010-04-19 06:29:39 EDT
This will not be a default in 3.6 since the cause of crashes is not investigated.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
