This has been happening quite frequently since 20021126.
Restart Eclipse.
Usually is restored with an active Java editor and outline view.
Attempt to switch to the Package Explorer
Eclipse crashes

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION log will be attached.

Some similarities with older PR22540 and PR13748.

Darin, which version of IE is the machine running?
Is the jdk 1.4.1 beta b14 essential to reproduce the crash? Can you also crash 
with the IBM1.3.1 VM for example?

This is on my home computer...I will have to check if I have the IBM 1.3 VM at 
home.  I will try with other VMs as well.

Is is still happening? Can you reproduce with a different VM (Sun 1.3.1 for 
example)? Thanks,
