The Features and Plugins have the delightful Columns button (I'm guessing the purpose of this button is for those mouseless users who want to change the column size).

Seems the button should be every place where there are columns.

And Actually I think this might be an opportunity for SWT (or platform UI) to do something more elegant with any multi-column control to have a dialog to be able to adjust the columns, rather than the application designer having to code the thing each time.  Susan, what do you think about that?

Agree on all points.  This is discussed in bug 229086.
I think the InstallationPage in platform UI should offer common column handling and then the p2 pages could plug right in...
