Comment 1 Kevin McGuire CLA 2009-04-21 22:31:12 EDT
The comment was:

"It also occurred to me that the button linking to the error log view is not
sufficiently obvious. In the first screenshot on this bug, there is a little
button that, when clicked, will open the error log view. From the log view
individual errors can be viewed/copied/pasted, or the entire log file can be
exported to a location of the user's choosing. This would have led immediately
to the stack in comment #5 and this bug might not have been entered. This
button should probably be a hyperlink with text, both for usability and for
accessibility reasons."

I wonder if access to the log view should be part of the details area somehow. It mirrors the exception details but with yet more information. It would allow more space to describe what the button does (i.e. without cluttering up the main section of the dialog).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
