In I20021119, C-_ (or Ctrl+Shift+-) isn't undoing editing changes. It shows up in the edit->undo menu as an accelerator correctly, though.
This is very aggravating to work with.
Ctrl+Shift+- works for me. If it is not working for you try resetting your key bindings (see workbench keys pref page).
Still broken in eclipse 2.1.1 for me. I tried what you said -- restore defaults then set the emacs keybindings.
- What exactly do you mean by C-_? Did you try Ctrl+Shift+- ? - Do you use plain Eclipse or did you add other plug-in which might steal the shortcut? If you added another plug-in try to see if there's a clash and also try to run using plain Eclipse SDK.
We can't do anything here without answers to the questions.
Sorry about that. Fell down down my inbox. I'm just running stock eclipse, no add-ins.
Still unanswered: - What exactly do you mean by C-_? Did you try Ctrl+Shift+- ?
Yes, C+Shift+-. It shows up in the keybinding list as I expect, but doesn't work. C+x u does work to undo, but isn't intuitive to my emacs-trained fingers :-)
Key binding stuff has significantly changed with 3.0 M3. With the new implementation it no longer works on my German keyboard since the shortcut is defined as: Ctrl + Shift + - (Shift + - is _ on my German keyboard). If I manually register "Ctrl+_" then it works.
I just checked in WSSD 5.1 and adding Ctrl+_ as a keybinding for undo works the way I expect. It sounds like something is broken in the way Ctrl+Shift+- works.
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported. Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
