I finally realized that I was in the Default Text Editor. So, if you open an HTML/JSP/XML ... file in the Default Text Editor, you should see the same icon that you see on the Open With->Default Text Editor selection in the file tab (not the Page Designer or the XML Editor icons). If this is an OTI defect, please update the component. <Note by decandio (George DeCandio), 2001/08/07 15:05:23, seq: 2 rel: 0 action: assign> Old Component: wsa.web.tooling New Component: wsa.web.oti NOTES:
PRODUCT VERSION: R09, Win2000
The icon shown in the editor tab should be the icon provided by the editor, not the default one associated with the file.
Can the text editor framework be updated to show the editor's icon in the tab instead of the icon associated with the file. Otherwise, it is not obvious which editor is editing the file.
fixed. will be in I-20020312.
