I have been using eclipse for past 6 years plus I am really happy with it. On behalf of people who are working on multiple workspaces, I like to propose additional feature for quick navigation to switch workspace rather than File -> Switch Workspace all the time(which does not display the current workspace also). This can be a icon on Main Menu bar or at the status dock. When mouse move on top of it it may show the current workspace location. On click it will display last five recorded workspaces and when select switch to it. If we are going to locate this on Main Menu bar we can have it right next to new else if we are placing it on the status dock we can have it before the show view as fast view. WDYT?

If you want to know what workspace you are in, I suggest appending '-showlocation' as an argument to Eclipse (presumably via the eclipse.ini file) so that the workspace's path will show up in the title bar of your Eclipse instance.

It works in latest Ganymede. But still prefer one click switch..
Changing Version tag to something more believable. Note that this is not a statement about when the enhancement request will be addressed (the Target Milestone field is used for that); the Version tag should be set to the version of Eclipse you were using when you saw the need for the enhancement.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
