Description Susan McCourt CLA 2009-02-17 15:18:36 EST
Opening this bug to track possible services provided by IInstallationPageContainer that are not provided in first cut.

- common toolbar (there was no use case so this was removed)
- popup menu
- progress service
- error reporting
Comment 1 Susan McCourt CLA 2009-02-17 15:20:28 EST
If we provide error reporting in IInstallationPageContainer, then we should change the documentation for InstallationPage.setMessage to explain what it does.
Comment 2 Mike Wilson CLA 2009-05-05 13:34:15 EDT
Changing Version tag to something more believable. Note that this is not a statement about when the enhancement request will be addressed (the Target Milestone field is used for that); the Version tag should be set to the version of Eclipse you were using when you saw the need for the enhancement.
Comment 3 Susan McCourt CLA 2009-06-25 14:15:58 EDT
assigning milestone for investigation in 3.6
Comment 4 Susan McCourt CLA 2009-12-03 16:39:17 EST
removing milestone, this isn't a priority for 3.6.
(Note we may end up with a common popup menu via bug 266186)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
